Default Weight of a For engine

Ford that should be...

Not sure whether this one has been asked before, does anyone know the weight of a flathead with accessories?

Keith.

Found this reference on the web.

Ford flathead V8 525 lbs 1932 model, integral b'hsg, iron heads

Probably close to that figure into the 1950's.

That sounds about right - the gearbox and clutch would add about 100 kilos or so (220 pounds).
