more like WW2 itself as that is a 1939 Ford station wagon in the background along with the British style trucks.

Morris Commercial 8cwt trucks in the forground could be an HQ set up

Um....Tony...there is only one photo in this thread...so which one were you looking at to see a cab 11/12 blitz? All I see are Morris Commercials and a 1939 Ford Station Wagon...Oh and lots of sand of course

Mind you MC's would look like an 11/12 Blitz if you had had a beer or two and not bothered to put your glasses on either.

On a more serious note I enlarged the photo but could not bring up a clear view but to me as I say the trucks all look like MC's or similar of British make except for the Ford Station Wagon so I put this at late 1939/40.

Default Conviction

Yes I must admit I had had 2 beers after a big day and hadnt eaten dinner when I was looking. But I'll stick to my guns and say thats an Cab 11/12 in the middle.

To the left and slightly above the station wagon.

If you can Cliff, enlarge the photo & post it. I'm now very keen to find out one way or the other.

Hi Tony,

I bet it is a Morris Commercial 8cwt truck.

I will collect the winnings at Corowa next year, a slab of VB will do fine

regards, Richard

I have done my best but the original photo is too low Res to do much with. I have managed to get it to the stage below and, Sorry Tony, still maintain it is a Morris Commercial and a radio version as it appears to be an aerial sticking up from it.

I'm not so sure about the Morris thing. The windshield slopes back and the front edge of the front fenders is straight. It looks like an 8cwt wireless body with that telltale 45 degree angle at the bottom rear of the box.

I added the higher res image and it turned into a Morris.

What concerns me Richard and Cliff....................... is you may be right!!.

But as I always say 'Lets not cloud the issue with Facts'.

If someone can definitely confirm what it is. Slab of beer from me (If you turn up to Corowa that is...)

Richard if your right...done & I'll help you drink that carton.

Keefy cmon, work some magic and it'll be Apple juice for you.

Its a MC... one easy pick is the lack of bumper bar then when pic blown up you can make out the cnopy bow abover the drivers door as well and thw size and angle of the windscreen. I'd go did up the orginal but busy getting things done befor haeding off to Corowa.
