Default Ford Restoration

Hi Guys I have stated the restoration on the Ford carrier and require the following parts, if you have any for sale that I have listed please PM me many thanks regards Ron

On the line drawing there is a stamped sheet metal handle, hinged at the top, on the steering column. What is it?

That is the handbrake, a standard Ford part used on Australian carriers. I have these (with a slightly different mounting bracket) NOS if anyone is interested.

Hi Terry yes Keith is correct it is the hand brake handle, thanks Keith,guess I must have slept in this morning, Keith does your hand brake handle come with the wire cable also? Regards Ron

Mark Sierant bought most of those, I think I have one which will need to have the end rethreaded due to corrosion in storage. Note the handbrake itself, although the handle and mechanism is identical to the carrier has a different mounting bracket which can be modified to suit.
