Regina Rifles Transport Officer on D-Day, appointed OC D Coy 8 June 1944 and in command of the defense of Cardonville farm 8/9 June 1944. Continued as Company Commander for the duration of the war except for two brief periods while out wounded. Commanded the Battalion for operations beyond Leer in the last few days of the war. Post-war LCol of the Regina Rifles. Co-Author (with Tery Copp) of Look To Your Front ... Regina Rifles (2001).
