Default Warning Order

Hi all - I am having various Carrier wheel componants manufactured to complete Project Phoenix. Obviously machining set up costs are going to be somewhat large, so of offset those costs and to get the price of the componants down, manufacturing a number of them would help. I am having made;

Wheel axles and the nuts utilising the original thread - 6 per Carrier
Bearing support rings - 16 per Carrier
Oil seal shims - 16 per Carrier

I will also obtain a price for the sprockets.

I am also having made the Carrier dash plate that will come with all the scripting stamped in and, if required, with the switch guard.

I should have all these costs in the next couple of days. In the meantime think about what you may rewuire and PM me ASAP as I will be in production soon.

BTW all this work is being down by a major manufacturer here in Adelaide.

Default Aaaaggggghhhh!!

Hi all - have obtained prices for manufacture of various components so sit down whilst reading. These are from a very reliable manufacturer who is also a military vehicle restorer so understands the needs and budgets of restorers. These prices will also give you a greater appreciation of the value of the parts you have, if they are any good, or what you could expect to pay for their replacement. These prices are for small runs and include the setup charges so obviously the more made at one time the less expensive the exercise could be. If you need any of these contact me ASAP as the manufacturing lead time is two weeks and I have to get these done to complete Phoenix in time for Corowa.

Axles with the correct thread - $185 (inc) each.

Castellated nuts with the correct thread that will also fit your axles - $48 (inc) each.

Bearing retaining rings - $38 (inc) each.

Grease retaining washer - $7 (inc) each.

35 tooth sprocket - $980 (inc) each but if I do a run of 10 (5 sets) the cost comes down to $920 (inc) each a saving of $60 each.

Default Price Correction

Hi all - I knew I'd stuff something up. I forgot to include the material cost with the bearing retaining rings. They work out to be $50 (inc) each and not as previously posted.

Default Bearing Retaining Rings

Hi all - still stuffed the price up. Down by $5 to $45 (inc) each. Where are all the orders?

Default 35 Tooth Sprockets

Re. these, I have located another manufacturer and may be able to get the posted price substantially down. Just negotiating at the moment.
