valley view fly in 21/22 april
hi all, its on again for anyone who wants to duck over to West Aussie for a weekend, Valley view fly in is up again, rumour its gona be bigger an better, there is at least one new carrier trotting around and the cheftain will make its presents known. plenty of aerobatics too along with stu's C16 as backdrop to the concert an saturday night!
The event is held at Kojarena on the Geraldton-Mt Magnet highway 35km east of Geraldton. Follow the signs or the noise

My brother lives in Geraldton and he went to the last one and was really impressed. He did ask me a couple of weeks ago if I would go across this year but unfortunately I can't make it. I am sure it will be a great event.

thanks jan, Its gona be a blast! cant give too much away but this year??? cheftan tank + pyrotecnics = fun! harry delux concert sat night with twin beech transport as a backdrop!, water bomber + haybails, spitfire replica, joyflights in the twin beach and helli rides.

what an end to a fantastic weekend! bren gun carrier drag races! harry delux concert and a centurian firing its first shots in 40 years, gunner was out of practice, first two shots missed but the third decimated the enemy tank (haybails) in spectacular fireball, the spitfire was something else along with the chipmunks, texan, steerman and a host of other planes as well!

can i post a video, got a good one of the tank letting a shot off, hitting the target and starting a grass fire with the muzzle flash! not too many pics as i was buzy puting the fire out!
