Default Fit for a Beaufighter pilot

This lovely period shot was taken after returning to Australia after the war and is what would now be a very desirable car...

Ahhh sorry to be a bit obscure... the chappie sitting pretty was a Beaufighter pilot in the European Theatre- here's another pic in an even more desirable conveyance...

I note that someone has souvenired the Ford blue oval off the bonnet. I'll bet it was the same B***** who's been pinching all the Data Plates off Ford Blitzes all those years ago!
