Default Identification numbers

I am restoring a CMP F30 the vehicle was given to the Dunedin New Zealand Fire Brigade in 1950 as a war assets disposal. The cab was in such poor condition that it was rebuilt locally hence the normal slope windows. In the rebuild the id tags went I can't find any numbers on the chssis but the frame that holds the dash has B9272 stamped on the top left side, seems a prety low number can any one assit in identifying the year or perhaps place of manufactur, any info appreciated. Photos as a hoselayer fire engine and as found after 12 years outside in a paddock. Steven
