Hans: I have 3 Wooden practice/dummy shells from 1944. They have a metal bottom on them and a metal collar at the top. The bottom is stamped HMC 3" Dummy, plus some other stamping. They stand 35" tall and are in excellent shape. I keep them by the front door and sling one over my shoulder when the JW's come a knockin. I'm selling these for a friend and he wants $100.00 each. You can contact me at rob.mor@shaw.ca if you would like some pictures. Cheers....R (PS: I'm in Vancouver)

How soon and how many of the .50 BMG cases do you need? I've got maybe 6-10 in my scrap metal bin presently but will have 20 or 30 spent .50 cal. cases after Remembrance Day if you can wait that long. PM me your address and I'll get them on their way.

I'm still looking for some 20mm brass - I've managed to find only two in the last year...
Also could use a couple of nice 105mm howitzer shells with the (fired) primer intact - some of mine are pretty beat up and if I can replace them I may use them on a "mess bell" project. |
