Default StuG IIIG on ebay

I need to sell a kidney.

item number : 280329852473

I've been tracking this particular StuG IIIG for about 4 years, it was recovered from the German Merchant ship the "Sante Fe" en route to Sevastopol on November 23rd 1943 when she was torpedoed.

AFAIK this is 1 of 4 (perhaps more?) that's been recovered to date out of a total of 12 on board, this particular example has been sitting in the Ukraine awaiting a buyer since at least 2004 & has been listed through 3 separate (that I know of) Military Vehicle dealers with no luck so far.

The fact that it is still on the open market.

I don't know about where you live, but the last time I nipped down to my local StuG dealership they were out of stock.

Considering the rarity and value of the vehicle, the photos in the ebay listing are very disappointing and poor quality. Maybe the seller has something to hide

Default stug on ebay

Bob had been out to the Crimea to view these and it seems that the armour plating has re-acted to the salt water and the armour has the cornflake effect...I have also spoken with the Russian guy in the States who is selling these...seems like a nice guy...he has also unearthed another rare best in some bog in the former Soviet Union...also for sale at big bucks.....best regards malcolm
