Default Canadian Army Daimler Ferret - first project!

I realized that this could either go in the restoration forum or in this forum but decided that as these pictures are pre the strip down and restoration this is probably the appropriate forum.

Anyway, this is my first military vehicle and I thought I'd show a few snapshots of it taken where I found it. It was bought in 1981 and ended up in an old walmart building in Missouri, used by a wealthy person for storing various things he collected. It remained there untouched until I bought it this year and brought it down to Florida. It now resides in my garage and I'm starting to strip it down so that all the major sytems can be inspected, renewed and then put back into operation. I've decided on a 1970's time period as I have been sent a picture of my Ferret in service in Germany in the 1970 time period. Any help on original paint scheme or comments on the appropriate equipment are much appreciated. Here it is:

Hello Neil. I look forward to following your work. I have always loved those vehicles. Want one myself, but divorce threatens, unless a lottery win precedes the purchase.

All the best. Welcome aboard, and post LOTS of pictures please.

Looks straight and clean as far as mvs go, should make for a nice restoration.
