Rich,
the Bedford QL was quite often refered to as a Bedford Blitz, maybe thats what it is. I would like to know more about the Lynx, though. Regards Rick

This is fairly close to me I will see if I can go for a look . My Bedford QLB was advertised as a Bedford blitz when I bought it at a farm auction 20 years ago.
If anyone comes to the auction don't worry about me bidding against you as my buying days are over I think, well I am pretty sure they are over, my wife keeps telling me they are. Cheers Ken

That M2 Scout Car has all the potential to lead the auction. The European collecting market likes wheeled vehicles that are small enough to be stored, fixed and restored without breaking the bank.

Auction Update via Jungle Drums!
Well Chaps, roumor has it that the Ford CMP went for around $3000 ish.
The Lynx got a new home at $5000 or thereabouts! Apparently there were quite a few parts that went with the Lynx sale. Some lucky bastard will have fun with it too! Wish it were me. Can you weld steel that thick using only a MIG welder. My 'snout' didn't have any interest in anything else, except for an unusual truck (I forgot the name) which he bid & won on behalf of an absent buyer. I did get an excellent heads-up on another upcoming sale which my friend will be attending. He didn't give up too many of the details about that one though.

Danny is right, The Lynx went for around $5500.00 I was a ansentee bidder and I must say that the Auctioneers were excellent in their communication. The winning bid was also an absentee bid and I had every chance to up my bid well before the auction. (There was no mobile coverage available, so we had to place our maximum bids before hand.) It was mainly that the items had to be removed straight away off the property and that would involve transport and storage cost for a few weeks that made me decide not to increase my bidding.
There were the remains of 3 Lynxs there and included the almost impossible to find gearbox. Thanks to MLU and Luke R for the heads up. If anyone knows the new owner and/or the new owner of the White Scoutcar also sold at the auction, please ask them to contact me so that I can add those vehicles to the Ford Lynx Register and the White Scoutcar Register. (I also have the Australian Registers for the Australian Saracens and the Ford Marmon-Herrington "Dingo" Scoutcars if anyone has one to add.) Thanks again Luke R. Regards Rick.

And
And Bedford QL. There are a couple of CMPs, the F15A looks remarkably complete with original rear body and wheel carrier.
