Default interment of Canadian Private Albert Laubenstein - 70 years after being KIA

I received this recently, thought this was of interest to the membership of MLU:
Quote:
The Canadian Defence Attaché to the Kingdom of the Netherlands announces the interment of Canadian soldier of the Second World War, Private Albert Laubenstein.
Private Laubenstein was killed in action during the fierce Battle for Kapelsche Veer, on 26 January 1945. A member of B-Company, The Lincoln & Welland Regiment, RCIC, he was 30 years old.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Albert Laubenstein was the son George Laubenstein and Dorothy Laubenstein of 12720-66 Street, Edmonton. At the time of Albert’s death Mrs. Laubenstein was a widow.
Pte Laubenstein’s skeletal remains and personal belongings were recovered on 20 June 2014 by the Recovery and Identification Unit of the Royal Netherlands Army near Sprang-Capelle, Netherlands in what appears to have been a lost field grave.
The Canadian Armed Forces, led by the Commanding Officer of the Lincoln & Welland Regiment, will re-inter Pte Laubenstein at The Bergen op Zoom Canadian War Cemetery on May 6th, 2015 at 1300 hrs.
You are cordially invited to attend the military interment ceremony.
RSVP to Sgt Laurie Dyck
