All of the tools that start with GP are from the Ford built Jeep part series. It is easy to find what those are as the Jeep nuts have documented this stuff to death. An example is here: http://www.jeepfabrikken.no/Tooltime.htm

Here is a decent shot of the whole tool kit for the Jeep with part numbers below: https://books.google.ca/books?id=PJ6...wrench&f=false

The rest of the tools appear to be primarily Ford civilian part numbers, which you should be able to google up or search for them on places like ebay, where they usually don't command a lot of money.

James,

You stated the vehicle was a 2GA staff car which would be a 1942 6 cylinder automobile and not the V-8 one.

Here is the tool list from my original Ford 2GA parts manual.

Note it gives you the commercial number for the wrenches.

The wrenches in 1942 were painted black and not chrome or cad plated.

Somewhere in my files I have a photo of the staff car tool kit but cannot find it right now.......

Here is a photo of the GP tool kit from March 1941.

Note the wrenches are cad plated but yours would have been black.

Tools that end in a "S" are OD painted ( S = "Special)

Parts that are 11T or 11A are 1941 car or truck ones.

11TS = 1941, V-8, Truck, Special

1 = 1941
1 = V-8 motor
T = 128 " W/B truck
S = Special (finish)

Same with 11A except the A = Automobile

2GA....

2 = 1942
G = 6 cylinder motor
A = Automobile

When I find the tool kit photo I will post it.
