Default Destroyed by enemy action

A Ford of Canada factory built 3' mortar carrier, CT 163736. As shown, modified to anti-tank role hauling a 6 pdr and crew. The later modification to mount the 3" mortar baseplate on the glacis plate can be seen, now partially covered by a spare 6 pdr carriage wheel.

Do the facial expressions of the crew suggests they know their picture is being taken?

While the mortar carrier has been converted to 6 pdr role, some other observations in the image:
Driver STEN over the instrument panel
Crew BREN ready for action, the BREN cleaning rod also exposed.
'TAXI' written on the sand shield, J2 marking on the rear compartment.
Rations stowage box is locked, relocated to glacis plate.
POL containers at gunners left elbow.
Hull extension plate mounting bases applied.

Prior to the suspension being load compressed, the allied recognition symbol may have displayed in the 'tilted forward' orientation.

What changes can you spot?

Issued 10 April, 1944, destroyed by EA Nov 1944, also appears on a return dated 26 Jan 1945.

Are records for specific vehicles like the one shown available for all Canadian built carriers or is this a rarity?

Fantastic link from the photo to the record.
