Rear axle hub nut
Can anyone help me with the size (across flats) of the rear axle hub bearing retaining nut, also is it 6 or 8 sided? This is for a No2 MK2*
Many thanks

Same size as Ford truck axle, 8 sided, CMP axles as well. Cannot remember the actual A/F size though.

Here is a link to a supplier, once you know the size, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MELCO-HUB...-/273188195653

I believe it is 3 inch 8 side. It is the same socket as used on the american m35 trucks.

My understanding is that all the parts in the rear axle are the same as a commercial 1.5 ton Ford truck - 1937-40.
Try Mac's for loads of applicable Ford Truck parts - https://www.macsautoparts.com |
