Italian War Memorial

Hi y'all just back from Florida and catching up on my mail. The March issue of the Toronto Branch of the War Amps mentions a project by the Italian Government to "Erect a proper Memorial to recognize Canadian, US and British troops who liberated Italy from the Nazis. The Italian Government is getting a suitable downtown site in Rome and expects to unveil and dedicate the Memorial in June." Anyone aware of this?
