Pius,
Did you see the 30 caliber anti-aircraft gun mount for M3 Stuart on ebay? The seller is asking about 3 times what it is worth!

Default Are you kidding???

Is a folding BSA bike worth $3000.??? Is a Piat worth $2000.??

How about an MB at $25000.?? There's a local Boys A/T Rifle for $7000.

The high rollers are driving up the prices and new guys in the hobby are out of luck. Hell a rusted carrier with no engine was bought in Georgetown for $2000 and went to Holland for $8000.

Where does it end? At the Militaria Shows the guys complain no new people are coming in the hobby. Gee I wonder why?

lads i got slated when i brought this up not so long ago, i believe free enterprise and non communist were thrown at me, i just cant shake the word PIRATE for the way some folk opperate, you are dead right about the carrier scene too, some un named dealers buy up the units for buttons then sell them on the web for 14k + ???? ebay is always an expensive route, unless the buyer does not realise what they have. I hope you find what your looking for good luck on your quest young Jedi
