Default Bathurst Carrier

Hi Matt, Looks like a Met gas carrier,to me Going by the angle steel in the back lower corners and on the ledge at the rear, also the angle where the engine cover sits and the small square plate welded just below the hole, and where the front of the drivers compartment was joined to the rear section, the flat plate covering this joint is spot welded, and is much wider than a plate fitted in this area to the other makers, also the front leading edge has a bevel on it , ,missing on the other makers, Nice find did you get any other pics, Regards Ron

I saw the same carrier. By the look of the colour, I reckon it was an ex telecom or a GT model

Default I dont know why...

.....but that truck in the first photo whispered "Colin Jones" to me.
What is that thing? Was it part of the Star wars programme,......... or is it for pelting rocks at the moon?

No Lynn, Its not for pelting rocks at the moon, but your close. Its part of a circulotometer that creates an explosive backpressure at large proporsions after detonation which directs heavy metalic and "HE" particles towards the ionsphere which then it either engages another self propelled object or physics return the object to level ground where it disintegrates on impact.
Abbreviated called a "Bofor" Darth vater and his brother exca had one
I hope all this technical stuff has'nt confused you.
Regards
Colin

I was confused, because of the way it was facing.
When does it arrive? Should I wait at the gate?

Default Mmmmmm very strange

If it is the same carrier, better back track down the highway a bit, it seems that it has lost its air scoop along the way. regards Ron

Maybe It was a fast turn at high altitude that tossed the air scoop out on a sharp bend....I beleive the number is 1099

Kind regards
