Default The great shed raid at Yass

Ganmain Tony here on Max's computer.Today is an organised assault on a Cab 12 Ford from Max's collection as a donor for another cab 12 back at Ganmain (No, not Howards....mine). By the way Howard was supposed to join me with his ute to carry the parts, but instead, not only are the attatched photos going to show Tony Smith how to pull apart a cab 12. They are also going to show you all how to jam a falcon sedan full of one half to three quarters of a Cab 12.

Once we pulled the cab off we found the chassis number which we dont seem to see on a lot of cab 12's. It also matched the plate on the dash. So going on the value of the parts at North wagga clearing sales this truck is (was) worth $5000. Yahoo!!!!

Pictures will follow later

Best wishes Tony, Max, Ashley, Robert & young Tim Farmer.

Max some important questions that need answering.

Did the raider come bearing sponge cakes.

Did the dog attack the raider as you may to have consider a bigger additional dog.

Hope things are going well for you and yours.

Most of the cab in a Ford Falcon, can hardly wait to see the photos.

But them maybe Henry had moving old trucks when he designed the cabin.

Regards

Col

Default Ganmain Tony

Good on you Tony!

Hope you managed to get the parts you need for Corowa.

Howard, what happened to you?

Looking forward to seeing the pictures too. Just what did you manage to cram into the Falcon?

Maybe Max can answer this as I know Tony doesn't have his own access.

Col there was no cake to sweeten me up but the raider ate ours in large quanties and you know Col he brought his own dog and it was much bigger than tazz. Even with out his cake we had a good day, we removed the cab off the chassie so as we could store the cab in the shed and Tony then set to removing the transfer case to take home with him pluss other parts as well

Keith I think he will be back and maybe with a cake

Has he collapsed, or is he humping it? I think the latter.

After all, he was very keen to get a 2-speed transfer case. Hope he didn't do himself further injury. Those cases are very solid.

(Just as well Tony doesn't have internet access).

Tony with a boot load of rusty stuff, wondering where the bumper bar will fit. But it wouldn't so he had to leave it behind.

Hello Max

Hey Ive been told there is a serial # stamped into the RH frame rail by the motor mount, can you tell me where you guys found the frame stamps just to narrow down my search ?

mine is s F15A ......... Id like to find #'s on it or 3 new Ford Data plates for the dash as all thats left is the screws

If anyone down under can help either with an extra set of plates or info as to where to find the serial #'s without sandblasting the whole frame

Thanks Max and all.

Terry we have found chassie numbers on top of the chassie on the drivers side beside the engine mount but for some reason all fords were not stamped on the chassie. Tony Smith may be able to help with info on data plates.
