Unhappy Death of a friend

Well known Book seller and Miliaria Dealer David Zink passed

away from cancer in Port Perry about noon today.

Dave was a solid guy and liked by all who knew him.

His business "Grenadier Books and Militaria" has not closed, but must eventually.

Default Sad News Indeed

Dave Zink was an incredibly decent and kind human being. His shop, The Grenadier was a refuge and an amazing place to while away an afternoon. He will be terribly missed.

This is indeed sad news. I spoke with Dave just a few weeks ago when he told me that the planned sale of his shop had hit a hurdle when the new owner backed out of the deal at the last minute - literally, in the lawyer's office as they were getting ready to sign.
