Default Type 12cab CMPs Nth~Sth road Aust

Here are a few photos of type 12 cab blitzs in convoy on what I believe the Nth~Sth road.

yes it does appear to be the North/South Military Highway (Stuart Highway now) in the NT of Australia.

and here is 5 more showing 12 cabs on the Nth/Sth Military Highway. Most from the AWM and NT libraries.

Could you identify what type of trucks the cab 12's are sitting on the back of in your second photo in the second series of photos you posted - please?

All 1939 or 1940 International prime movers. K6 models probably (but not sure). In 1941 the front grill and sheet metal shape changed but 1939 & 1940 models looked similar.
