Default Canadian WW2 Trailer?

Just spotted this, it looks like the Canadian style WW2 trailer. Sorry it ends very soon. No connection to me etc...

I watched it, it went from £102 to £666 in seconds, yikes, a good buy though.

Maybe the devil bought it?

Default Enough trailers!

No Hanno,
I think I've enough trailers......!

(although I've just bought a very rare WWII British Lightweight Compressor trailer built for Airborne Div .... but this one is destined for someone else to restore).

This ebay trailer is interesting and I suspect the water tank in the back is pre-WWII and had been added to it

John,

One can never have enough trailers! I think more of them should be preserved (check) and restored (I'll put mine on the to-do list )

The water tank is most certainly a later addition, and probably the reason why it survived in such a good condition. Had it been used for carting manure, it would have succumbed to rot many years ago.

Is the buyer on MLU?

H.

Totally agree about saving these trailers. They are an important part of the whole MV story. Trouble is I can only tow one at a time....but it doesn't stop me "encouraging" others to restore wrecks I find.
