And now just 2 left, but one has become a $800 C-GT! (Ford is still available for Hanno.)

Hi Tony,

One Ford is enough, thanks.

That CGT chassis would make a nice basis for an Indian Pattern FAT, though!

Cheers,
Hanno

Default Cgt?

It's a C15A retrofitted with a winch.

Could well be, though the owner notes "bigger diffs as its a gun tractor"?

He is incorrect. You can see the C15A type handbrake cables in the rear backing plates, and the CGTs we had here were built before the bigger steering ends were in production, the diffs are all the same size physically of course.
There's no evidence of fairleads front or rear. Of course it would have been refitted with a two speed transfer case to use the winch. This is not an uncommon conversion. The ultimate test is to ask for the chassis number and I bet it's 8444...

To quote a famous Australian movie: "Tell him he's dreaming!"

Thanks, so it is just another case of a 15-cwt retrofitted with a winch, as so many were post-war.
