Default Diver's helmet distributor

The distributor uses the same caps on the L and R sides. The terminals should be numbered for the cylinders and when fitted to each side, the correct numbers read the right way up.
Left hand cap from top right terminal clockwise 3-2-4-1
Right hand cap from top right terminal clockwise 7-6-5-8
Cylinders are numbered differently to later V8's. Left hand bank from the front 1-2-3-4, then Right bank from the front 5-6-7-8.

As an added question....what can be done if you have some cracked wires? Are there any suitable replacements out there?

Regards
