Default Ford Civilian style gauges

Hi, I am after the Ford Civilian style gauge cluster as used in the cab11/12 and early cab 13 models.

I'm in the UK but happy to have it shipped.

Thanks James

The earliest trucks used the brown gauges, and the Cab 13s were over to the grey coloured gauges as far as I have ever seen. Here is a link to a nice brown set, albeit pricey: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1940-FORD-S...-/283277512686

When I got my first cmp about 25 years back, I was picking parts at the local MooseJaw collectors salvage yard, and asked the owner about gauges. He took me up into the second floor of one of the sheds, and pulled out a 24x24 tray full of NOS Ford Gauges. At $5 a gauge, I happily bought enough for 2 or3 trucks.

The ford clusters show up on Ebay UK from time to time. And try any classic car show/autojumble local to you; I picked up my Chev instrument cluster that way, for the princely sum of £2.

Owen.

Thanks guys, I have picked up loads of Chev gauges at the shows etc but the Ford ones seem a little rarer.

The carriers were built in '43 but had early dashes so not sure of colour, the remains in one of the carriers has black gauges!

Thanks for the help. James

Default Ford big trk Civilian guages

These are actually fairly unwanted in the USA. My F60S '42 has Civilian guages with chrome surround. Try Fordbarn.com where the V8ers hang out. Newc in Oregon
