Warrior Day in Preston- Sat 12 Sept 09
Preston is a recurring theme, as it is the best place in the country for a parade. ( check out youtube "canada day parade" ) Although only a glimpse, these parades are extremely well attended.
The organizers for this event have contacted me to again arrange vehicles for this fine tribute. Heading the parade will be the recently returned Afghan vets from the region and the remaining D-Day vets. Sufficient mil veh of almost any vintage would be appropriate. There will be a sit down dinner the night prior, in Hespler as they are the "host branch". And marvelous hosts they are. I'll get the details soon, any interested parties can let me know through this means.
