I have recently been in contact with SECO with a view to importing several of the last few Sexton's left into the UK . I have been told that they are now all promised to someone else in the UK (I assume to be imported) . Does anyone out there know anything about this ??

Thanks

I understand from a contact that three Sextons are being imported, two will be broken to supply parts for the restoration of two Shermans, and one will be sold on for restoration.

Spares for Shermans are obviously starting to get scarce, and I understand Kevin Wheatcroft has been hovering up spares as well.

ok some one stop the breaking up of the sextons please.
if someone would just talk to seco they would know that there are pallets of road wheels final drives etc at the yard. it looks like about 4-5 sextons in parts are around the yard in piles. they are moving tons of "scrap" for no reason, it would be easier to just have the components moved and cheaper. if the guy wants spairs they are laying all over the yard ready to ship. dont distroy the last 2 sextons.

I have tried contacting SECO on several occasions by both phone and email over the last few years .I have been told on each occasion that they had no Sextons left . Then I here that someone else has bought one from there and there are others available so I try again.
Now I know they are down to the last few and once again am told they are all sold . I would love to try and save them but once again someone has beaten me to it.
