CMP 60cwt Spare Tire Carrier
Hello Everyone.
I am looking for an original spare tire carrier for a 1944 C60L or parts thereof. Enclosed below is a picture of the style I am looking for (this tire carrier was for sale on the MLU in Europe a while ago). If none are available dimensions / photos would be greatly appreciated. I do know of a truck with the base of the carrier but am unsure if the owner will sell it. Any leads or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm located in Ontario, Canada Thank you.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the reply. You are absolutely correct. The spare tire carrier from a duece and a half (dump truck) is close. I do have one so my alternative is to fabricate one using half of the duece "clam shell." The rest should be reasonable to make. Ian
