I rang the owner/seller today, he lives near Temora, about an hour from here.
The truck is 'surplus to his requirements' and taking up space.
It will be a couple of weeks before I can get out that way to get a look so I asked him to photograph the data plate and search for any ARN.
The truck sounds quite original and looks to be an excellent restorer.
