WW 2 Crew Kit
I would like to learn/understand how personnel dealt with their personal gear during the war. Specifically, what did drivers and co-drivers do with their haversacks and backpacks etc, while they were driving? Were they always with them, or only under certain circumstances?
While we are at it, let's kick it up a notch. If you were the four crew members of a 15-cwt Wireless Truck, working with the PPCLI, what would you do with your kit while actively working? Would the kit be with the crew on the vehicle, or held somewhere else? David |
