Default C-15A Exhaust Manifold......

'Afternoon All,

Our Museum's C-15A CMP (Ashton Armoury Museum - https://www.facebook.com/ashtonarmourymuseum/) has a cracked/damaged beyond repair Exhaust Manifold, and we're in need of a new one......that's serviceable! Specifically, we need a Manifold for a Chev 6 Cyl 216 or 235ci engine. The exhaust down pipe is in the middle of the Manifold and faces straight down.

Does anyone on this forum have a spare in good condition they can part with or know of a source for one?

Cheers,

Chris Preston

Default 216 or 235

important to know wether it is a 216 or a 235 for the intake rings. I can probably find you one.

Default C-15A Exhaust Manifold….

‘Morning Harry,

I’ve confirmed that the engine is a Chev 235 Stovebolt 6. The Manifold Outlet hangs straight down, and it’s a “truck” manifold.

Cheers,

Chris

Default slightly different

I have three identical sets but they all are not straight down but angled slightly to the rear. It would need a modification to the exhaust pipe.

Is my assumption right that the rear angled manifold is for the 261?????

Default manifolds

pretty much all the engines around here are 235 with just one 261, the only straight down ones I've come across were on 216's.
