Just wanted to say a big thankyou to Maj Charlie Fitton and Sgt Lance Harrison and all the members of the RHFC for and excellent day. From what I hear about 500 people came through the doors to see diplays from the Rev. war, US civil war, WW1, WW2, RHFC (modern) and the air cadets. Appologies if I have forgotten any groups.
First picture if off the Perth Regt display. Most of it was from a private collection of one of the members. I must add that some of the helmets were exceptional. The BSA in the forground was also very nice to see. Although I hear the owner hasn't yet bothered to start it. I should add that it is still an improvment from the last time it was seen in a bunch of parts all over his garage.

The next two pictures are of the 1st Can Para living history unit. There was myself and Carl Marcotte in attendance. I shoudl add that Carl came all the way from Ottawa just for the one day. Here he is demonstrating a proper exting the plane position for the public. We also had a display of airborne specific equipment for all to see.

Here Carl is showing how hitting the "bang box" of the parachute made your Sten gun available for use. He also had one of the young kids help out by holding onto the leg bag and therebye showing how it was deployed.
Along the right hand side was the RHFC Normandy platoon display. They portray the Highland Light Infantry during NWE.

And finally I had my UC on display. And no the mud did not come from chewing up the RHFC grass out front.
I apologize for not having more pictures of the other displays but the batteries for my camera crapped out on me before I could get around to taking them.
