Default HUP wiring loom

Can anyone recommend a firm to reproduce a new wiring loom for my 1943 HUP?

Thanks
James

James,

Also check Phil Watermans website; he has some good info on the HUP wiring and the loom he reproduced

Default Vinwire

I have tried emailing Vinwire several times now both using their contact page and by direct email. So far I have had no reply. Does anyone know if they are still trading?

Thanks James

Default Vintage Wiring Harness

Hi James,

It was in business three months ago when I spoke to Paul Vermont, the owner.

I have an outstanding item from them and live here in Melbourne where they are located so will give them a call this week. The item was coming in from the US so I haven't worried too much about the long wait.

Having said that, specialist businesses do close unfortunately so here's hoping. Will let you know here.

Their workmanship is outstanding having seen some of their looms when I visited their shop. Their machine to do the harness coverings is an amazing "Heath Robinson" device and close to a one of a kind. It would be a sad day for the vehicle restoration fraternity here if they have closed.

Cheers,

Hi James,

Just spoke to Paul Vermont at Vintage Wiring Harness. They are most definitely still in business and recently sent a Chevy CMP wiring harness to the UK. He said he is very busy and has even hired two extra people so waiting times can be up to two months for his harnesses, so that is good news.

He asked me to apologize to you for not replying but he could not see any email from you.

Just to confirm the email address is:
contact@vinwire.com.au

Hope this is of some help.

Cheers,

Hi Jacques,

Thanks for that. Great news!

That was the email I used but I will try again.
