Default always a but

we could probably get a date BUT (theres always a but ) I feel there may be a slight queue
probably runs into several hundred thousand people
Because im a nice bloke you can take my place in the queue
yes it would be a hell of a way to go
As my favourite saying goes 'you are only as old as the woman youre feeling'
Unfortunately my old girls were built in 1941,1942 and 1944

Yeah, you're probably right, dammit! Maybe it's a good idea not to date anyone younger than one's own children anyway...

Can we double their ages and try again?

I wonder if dating both of them at the same time doubles the age

Sure wish we could divvy up the weathers and both have at the halfway marks at least We're currently about -15c.

There's a strange concept "out there in flakes land" that the "collective consciousness" of all of us controls our weather. Our thoughts, moods, energies causes the weather changes

We ARE energy ... so perhaps???????

I guess you Aussies think you are all really "HOT" lately then hey?

does that make you canadians ice maidens then ?

I personally would never call myself "hot" (with a head like mine )
on occasions hot under the collar though

If we did a divvy it would still only be 6c -bit fresh for me im afraid

Maybe it's the "hothead under the collar" causing the heatwaves then?

Well, we can't allow you to be too hot for your own good, now then, can we?

Default todys temperature

It's too damn hot to even look at the temperature, emergency measures are called for. a few neighbours and I are going to crawl across the desert that is one of the paddocks to the Male bonding area whereupon we will sit and stare at the truck and attack some Dutch beer one of the guys got. God its hard to be a martyr to a truck, P.S. Aussies, no snakes or biting things here except lots of sharks that have deserted you and are cruising our beach.

PPS did you see on the Aussie news the photos taken by a neighbour who hung upside down out of his 3 metre boat with his mates holding his legs and got great photos of a 4 metre great white (shows the sun is getting to a few people around here)

Happy New Year to all you MLU ers

Rookie

G'day Rookie!

I'll trade you half way.... at just before 0300 Friday in Toronto, it's about +4 right now and raining - virtually unheard-of for years! It SHOULD be averaging -10/-15 and snowing, and hell, even our weatherguessers are stuffed - it's supposed to be -3/snowing in 5 minutes! Still, I haven't seen the sun in close-on two months now, and I'm damned tired of the damp & cold! Gets into your bones at this age... the bottom line is don't whinge!

well it has been a bit different the last couple of days .The temp here was only about 25c yesterday then rained in the arvo with about 11mm then continued overnight with a further 22mm and still raining as i type but only very light .
very good soaking rain
we need a lot more of this type of rain in Australia to try to get the sub soil moisture levels up
It has been a long time since ive went to sleep with rain and woke still raining
rookie -you tend not to see many snakes when it gets up around the 40s .its too hot for them . if you do find them though they are very fast and cranky .their blood temps right up
whats the fun without a bit of side line action to keep you on your toes ?
