Default Spitfire video

You may wonder what it takes to make a S.E.G.

Keith ..
Wonderful sight and sound...It would have been much more dramatic to be filming while being peppered with .303 rounds from the 8 Brownings....
Do you think you could do a re-run as described..???

Alex, jealousy is a curse and will get you nowhere in this world.

Perhaps I'd do it if I had a battery of oerlikons rather than a camera.

You do marvels with the camera..
And the subject matter is near and dear to my heart..
It was these beautiful aircraft that inspired me to want to fly as long as I can remember and join up and head off for Centralia,Ontario as a student pilot in the RCAF right out of high school..
The rest is a long story....

Default View from the flightdeck

Here's another this time onboard the Lockheed Hudson.

Also uploaded one from the ground with the Hudson coming in over your head.

And speaking of that, here's the Mk VIII Spitfire doing the same thing.

Had to install the QT update to watch. Great videos, ok now are you getting any stero recordings of the fly byes. Would love to play them as background at our summer rally. Say about 05:30 at full volume over the PA.

Phil, Phil, Phil.... this demands no more, no less, than the pipes & drums of the Scottish National Band! Nothing like the pipes to take the edge off a good MV hangover...

We had a piper in our club who would do things like that. Some people loved it then again some people didn't. Sorry thing was that as he became a really good piper he started spending more and more time at piping events and less at MV.

Hey Keefy,

I loved the landing ones. Cranked up my speakers to listen! And I can see why you'd want to stand to the side a bit rather than right underneath them when they're landing. Nice to keep your head. Right?

Oh yes... sometimes their wheels are only a few feet above the fence, and whilst it's exciting it wouldn't take much if a miscalculation or downdraft to turn me into a statistic.

That "vampire" link crashed my browser both times when I tried it. Is that just a problem on MY end? My harddrive is acting like its dieing on me so it could well be a problem my end ...

Karmen, it worked for me... it could indeed be you have disk issues.

Keefy -- that Vampire shot reminded me of Forsythe's book "The Shepherd"... ever read it?

Thanks Geoff. I just tried it again after reading your message here and it again crashed my browser. Bummer. Will have to wait until my computer is sorted out and I can view it I guess.

The other ones worked for me though. Just not the vampire one. Maybe my computer is just paranoid about vampires

No, but I've heard of it. I'll keep a lookout.
