Default Aircraft for 2 pounder

I have a 1947 ex N.Z Devon that i would like to swap 4 a 2 pounder carrier.
My aircraft doesn't fly so the 2 pounder doesn't have to work.

Good lord, Colin, what on earth were you planning to do with that?

Hi Geoff, plans never came into it when i got it about 12-13 years ago. If you look at the experimental carrier you'll see my other one.
Regards Colin.

Be a start anyway, where do I pick up the keys...?

Oh yeah, and would you mind an MLU sticker on the window, afterwards? Kind a sign of membership?

I believe the [abbreviated] sequence of events might be:

"Switches on."

"Right, start No.1"

"Start No.2"

"SUNRAY, REQUESTING PERMISSION TO TAXI"

"PERMISSION GRANTED, SUNRAY, TAXI TO THE THRESHOLD OF RUNWAY NINER"

... a series of unintelligible noises...

"SUNRAY, REQUESTING PERMISSION TO TAKE OFF"

ROGER SUNRAY, PERMISSION TO TAKEOFF"

"SUNRAY, ... ER ... WHEELS UP AT 49 PAST THE HOUR"

Hmmm... very interesting indeed...

Yep,Grant...
That is what happens when those brown-job wannbe blue-jobs try to fly...and other than flying Friday night at the mess,I advise them to stay away from anything with wings and engines.....How else could anyone explain them jumping out of perfectly servicable aircraft...

That's easy.... after spending the aforesaid previous evening in the mess watching them blue fellers make utter fools outta themselves, and then barely figger out how to get that nice aeroplane down a perfectly straight roadway and into the air (forgetting minor things like flaps and wheels), it seemed eminently wiser to take the short way down....

There are well-founded rumours that the Devon might be on a 2-way border raid to take up residence at 800m altitude to become the Half-Mile High Clubrooms? With a serious bit of metal going back the other way? Hmm, I wonder if these whispers could be true?

Twelve Devons and a pair of wings for a 25 pounder? What price a limber? Two Tiger Moths?

Well, I can now say that those well founded rumours are true. Got back last night and thanks neil for your help there. You should join and put some pics up of your projects. The stuart drove on very easy and will now live undercover as it deserves until the resoration. At least I did'nt go empty handed.
Colin.
