I don't know how many people have paid attention to the "Canada" decal on the WS19 MKIII. It is written in English, Russian and Chinese. I know about our own use and the Russian lend/lease but until now there has been very little info on China. In browsing the Heritage Canadiana site I found a document showing 552 sets were ready for shipment. I wonder if there were translated manuals?

And the sets themselves, were the faces printed in Chinese characters or did they expect the National Chinese troops to be fluent in either English or Russian?

Interesting Canadian archive but not easy to search. Is there a certain search method to use ?
A side note: A group of volunteer drivers from the 8th Aust. AIF division were sent to China where they drove trucks for the Nationalist forces. There was a book published, it was written by one of the drivers.
