Default M3 on the Eastern Front

Has anyone seen tracks like this on an M3 in use by the Red Army before?

Default Looks like...

...rubber tracks that have been burnt off. Note the piles in front of both tracks, possibly rubber ashes.

Default M3

Thanks Snowtractor!

It's strange how things look in photos. The tracks looked like some kind of all metal tracks - like the one on this M4 but as it is also knocked out, no doubt the same thing has happened to the rubber blocks!

It's not often you see the tracks without the rubber. It will appear as a 1/35 scale accessory soon!
