Default Scrooge McDuck's Car Bin?

Holy cow! No other info on this hoard. What's the story? You'd think they'd be a little better protected if someone expected to profit from sales to collectors down the road. Dropsheets at least. It's the Cave of Ali Baba (and the 40 car thieves?). Did the barn owner just up and die? The photographer seems a bit presumptuous in grinding through the welded-shut door. Break-enter-and trespass and all that.

Some real gems in there: Too bad there are no interesting green trucks though.

I remember seeing this a few months ago and the story i heard was it was owned by a old man who passed away and his son inherited the property and decided to clean it up to sell it and never realised his father owned the large shed at the back of the property so he decided to open it for a look figuring it would be empty and found all the cars . there is easily a few million in rare cars in there .

Dont know if the story is true its just what i read on the net .

Cheers Plushy

I love to hear more about these cars and the plans with it. I recon I know someone who is interested in the Abarth scorpione, that is, if it is not an OTAS or Lombardi. Also the Steyr-Puch would interest a lot of people.

Finding the Portugese CMP FAT's and the Grizzly's in a similar barn, would probably be wishful thinking.....

Sounds like the sort of scenario I imagined - still, you think the guy might have invested in some dust covers.
