Default NOS 230 engine

I have for sale in NSW Australia one NOS 230.2 dodge engine. It has no engine number and the block casting is slightly different to that of a T214. I have been told that it was manufactured in Germany after the war. If interested please contact me for more information and photo's. Email is:

Thanks. Bruce

Default engine

Chrysler Australia were using 230 engines ( 3 1/4" bore ) in their mid 1950's car based utes . I had one of these engines at one point in time . The water pump by pass is internal , rather than external as with the wartime 230's .

Maybe you have one of these engines ? Mine had a P engine number prefix as I recall . The head gasket was different to the wartime version .

Default Thanks Mike

This engine uses the same head gasket and water pump as the T214 engine in my WC52 and has the bolt on type oil filler tube. Regards. Bruce
