I don't see anything from 1972 to 1982 except for some upgrades, could it have sat in a compound? As well in 1982 it shows 161 SL or 16/SL. I'm not sure what that stands for. In 1985 it was in the depot at Ludgershall but it has DOE in red...any idea what DOE stands for?

Thanks,

Ryan

Congratulations on becoming an owner and investing in your retirement.

I am surprised that Eastern Ontario is not sinking a little bit with the weight of Ferrets at this end of the province.

There are now 6 owned this side of Belleville, hopefully we can get all of them running and together in one place this year.

Love the smell of 80/90 weight in the morning!

We'll end up on a watch list if we get any more, lol!

If all goes well there will be a seventh just north of us as well.

I think I am already on someone's list

Anyone for a hilltop tour?

Robin

Default Not a hilltop tour but maybe a trail ride....

I'm sure I am not the only one with a place to drive, maybe somebody needs to get a look at some trails, not too far away, for some good driver training. I have mine working good and hopefully a few others would join in for a drive. Not looking to get muddy, if we did then Robin might need to bring a CVRT for recovery..... An old railway line would be good, just couldn't trust the bridges.... Maybe Foxborough north to Madoc? I know that old railway line gets good ATV and UTV use all summer. Or Picton to Trenton rail line? Not sure about that one though. Give me a few years and my farm will have a good trail to drive on, not long enough yet. Need to connect a few trails.

Just a thought.

Default Ferret Vehicle History Cards

Hi Ryan. Congratulations on becoming a Ferret owner. I made contact with a fellow on the Historic Military vehicles forum and he was able to do a full translation/interpretation of the vehicle history cards for my Ferret. Shall send you a pm with his contact info. I like Robins idea of getting a bunch of Ferrets together for a rally/gathering. Not sure how easy that would be if vehicles are located in different areas but maybe something could be figured out.
Cheers, Terry.
