Default Seat Mounts

Hi,
I have been looking at my F15A seat mounts and I have seen variations between it and my F15.
The F15 seems to have small joggled plates and the F15A must have larger ones with 2 holes. The photo shows my floor with 2 holes at each mount. The small single mount is from the F15 and I have 2 longer ones, that I am not sure where they came from. I either need 8x 2 hole mounts or the dimensions for them.

cheers

Default Seat mounts

Hi Eric,

The long joggled plate goes at the front of the seat base and the two small plates with the elongated holes are used at the rear of the seat base.

So all you need is to make another long one, and 3 of the short ones.
There are extra holes front and rear in the floor that are not used which may be deceiving. Perhaps a one size fits all requirement during production.

I may have a couple of them if you get stuck but they may be a bit wasted.

Cheers,

Thanks Jacques. The extra hole really threw me out. My son will make up the small plates with the joggle. He does blacksmithing.

Default Ford CMP Seat mounting

Hi Eric,

No worries mate. Always glad to help.

Wish I knew your son did blacksmithing when I needed a rear rams head hook fabricated a couple of years ago! See attached.

The guy did a great job but it took almost a year to get it made and a long drive to collect it.

You might be able to use his skill if yours are bent or broken off.

Cheers,
