Default Military Box ID

Found this box ib the storage rental locker, Heavy gauge, well made OD

colour paint. Very military "looking". Probably had a top tray in it.

Anyone recognize it???

It looks the same as the standard British type tool box. Came with a tray.

I want to echo tool box. That flip wire hasp looks just old-fashioned enough.

In general shape, the box resembles one I saw this weekend at the Ottawa militaria show that had a list of chorehorse spare parts pasted inside the lid.
On the other hand, lettering on the outside lid appears to say MT Fitters.
Do dimensions and the complete lettering provide more clues?
