Default CMP bus Rangoon

G'day All, I was watching the ABC midday (1200hrs AEST) news today when a story about politics in Burma came on, it showed a street scene and what rolled into view resplendent in green and yellow, a Blitz bus, I think it was a Chev but it was way too quick and it was all over in about 2 seconds, anyway it was good to see and they are just like the pix that Keith put up some time ago, Australian MLU'rs may be able to catch it tonight at 1900hrs AEST, anyway cheers Dennis

Default Burma buses

But here's one of the pages mentioned:

Almost all the CMP buses are now based on Chevs, fitted with diesel engines.

When I visited Burma in the 70s there were both Ford and Chev buses, but Chev engines were the norm.
