Default Army training camp - Vernon, BC

Came across this undated postcard of the Training Camp in Vernon, BC. Possibly from 1940's to mid 1950's. Few vehicles but thought it might be of interest to the forum. I believe my father trained in Vernon as part of the militia (Canadian Scottish) in the summer summer of 1939 and was a cadet trainer when with the regular force, RCA, in the early 1950's.

If you have an interest in Camp Vernon, you may already have seen http://www.armycadethistory.com/vernon_acstc_main.htm If not already seen - an interesting view.

Thanks for the link Grant. Well done website. I hadn't thought much about how many cadets passed through Vernon; many more then I would have thought judging by the photos.. I browsed through it for any photos of my dad. Didn't see any but I found some names of friends who went to summer camp there in the 60's. I was never a cadet so no specific interest. Jon
