A small tin marked CM 3062??? Is this an artillery piece? Cheers Rob

A google search shows a round tin, marked for packing washers. I will have to check at work, but I think we have similar tins for the packings on the 25 pdr recoil mechanisms. Not sure any of them are as large as the 4" the ebay ad describes.

Default packings

I have quite a few sealed tins of packing's and seals for the recouperator ,all with individual part numbers .
Will have to search through the parts list ,possibility they may not be listed.

Cant find CM3062 in the 17 pdr parts list but found CM3086 .
Worth a punt I guess !

on the CM number search, yes I also found something close in my 17 pdr. manuals. Keep me in mind when clearing out 17 pounder kit. That recuperator pump is a fine piece of kit! Cheers Rob
