Both vehicles appear to be pretty good value, specially after seeing asking prices on Ebay of late. Hope they go to a good home before he finds out scrap values.

Don't think we need to worry about the price of Scrap now. The price has dropped that far down that the scrappies won't even come out to pick it up.
Simsmetal notified our local scrappy last week that they might not buy anything from him until about next MARCH. His yard is full as he had been stockpiling and has been caught with it. This is a direct result of the downturn in the economy. There are containers of scrap blocking ports all around the world. China has stopped purchasing. China also has told the big mining companies in WA and QLD to cut back on production. I guess it had to happen. As usual I've missed the bus too. Got about 2.5 to 3 tons on my trailer right now. Don't expect to get much for it though. Let you know tomorrow how it went. regards Rick.
