Default Latest acquisition

Well, the White Scout Car was finally delivered to the Netherlands this week and on the return I picked up my latest purchase. A very nice project, a 1943 HUP.

If anyone can help, I am looking for the following for it:

The interior dome light.
Any parts of the sliding roof mechanism.
The central bench seat.
Left hand fuel tank.
The Fuel tank guards

I am also looking for any in service photos of HUPs in North West Europe or Italy.

James

Lovely purchase James. Is this the one that was for sale in France some time ago?

Hi Alex,

Yes it is.

It was sold to a gentleman in the Netherlands, he stored it for 4 years and has now decided to sell her on.

Hi Tony,

I will sort through my pictures and post the missing articles.

James

Thanks Hanno,

Now that Sally has formally laid claim to the Jeep and the LOHR was hers anyway, I now officially am a CMP only collector!

I know where there are these parts are..... in a barn Nr Godstone

The roof light is a real pain for passengers as one tends to scalp oneself on it

John

I think he might not be too happy on his next trip to the barn.

Default Thanks James

For posting the pic's. I thought the latch was a far simpler mechanism and Ive never seen one of the lights.

Thought I might be able to help but these bits are out of my league

Glad youve seen the light and sticking to the Blitz

Here are some before and after shots, sent to me by the original French owner who rescued the HUP from the mountains.
