Default BEDFORD QLR photos?

I have been asked to write about a model QLR Admin & Command Centre of the RASC, although did the RCASC have any? Has anyone got any pix please of such trucks in service? Or any QL series, e.g. QLT troop carrier?

Hi David,

Perhaps war office publication ZA 10671 dated October 1943 titled Wireless station A.C.V., L.P. or Lorry, 3-ton command L.P./19HP/19/A may be useful to you. It has three drawings on the interior of a 3-ton CV: two on the two compartment CV: operator's compartment and officer's compartment resp. and the third on the 3 compartment version. (plus two plans on the two types). A repro is available through me.

Best regards,

Rob

Hi David,

can you sent your terrestrial address once more. Regarding bookkeeping and filing previously sent out books, I am not that well organised as I would like to be.
Email me at rvanmeel@wanadoo.nl and I'll sent the book by return of mail.

Br,

Rob

Default Bedfor QLR's

David,
In Gregg's book, there are two different variations of the QL used by the Canadian army.
One is a mobile operations room for controllng heavy AA, and the second is a troop carrying vehicle for carrying infantry in an armoured brigade, and also used in motor ambulance convoys for evacuation of sick and injured.
